Sala Thai offers a vast selection of traditional Thai dishes. There are many appetizers, soups, salads, a la carte items, noodle dishes, seafoods and curries to choose from. Vegetarians are welcome, there's plenty of meatless items on the menu. You may spend more time selecting your food than waiting for it! Order your meal as mild or as spicy as you like, with a heat scale ranging from 1 (weenie!) to 5 (make you sweat & cry!). Employees are warm and attentive, the atmosphere casual and the food is unique, fresh and very pleasing. If sweet & sour chicken is a favorite of yours, you must try the crispy fried chicken, which is similar but offers a much spicier and more complex sauce. The hot mustard soups and noodles are wonderful as well. There are so many items on the menu to try, so if you're not familiar with Thai cuisine, try visiting during buffet hours to get a little taste of everything. Bring your cash!!!! Sala Thai does not accept checks or any credit cards. Expect to pay around $7 to $10 for entrees, a little less for appetizers and soups. Although a little pricier than comparable restaurants, the helpings are generous.
